From those who are just starting out with Blender to those who want to build a solid foundation and learn more! I will kindly teach you the principles of basic functions and common mistakes. Let's dive into the fun world of Blender together.
What you will learn!
Principles and functions you need to know in object mode and edit mode
Frequently used modifiers and how to use them
Control menus and how to use them
How to use Camera, Light, Eevee Render, and Color Management
After taking this course, you can create a lovely donut shop like this! 🍩
Hello. This is Code Mode!
The Friendly Blender lecture series helps you understand the principles and create what you want by analyzing situations where modeling fails, such as " Why doesn't it work?" and "Why does it turn out like this?" by explaining the reasons and causes during the process of learning Blender.
LV.1 lecture is a basic modeling lecture that follows the previous introductory required course. While proceeding with the modeling of the donut shop, it does not end with simply following along, but also includes thoughts on why it is made this way and how it can be made better. This lecture is for those who have some understanding of the concept of Blender but are encountering new problems while studying .
When you learn the reason and principle of using each function while modeling, you can develop the ability to think for yourself about how to create other works you want later. You need to go over the basics step by step to fully 'make' Blender's various functions.
This course teaches you the basic functions necessary for modeling and ultimately creates a donut shop.
I'll teach you how to avoid common mistakes and give you the power to think about your own modeling methods.
☑️ I will explain the functional parts of the blender one by one!
☑️ You can understand by creating examples one by one based on the functions you have learned!
I know blender
Solid from the basics
For those who want to learn one by one
Follow the basic tutorial
It's blocked, what is it?
For those who don't know if it's a problem
It's okay to watch and follow along
The work I want
Someone who finds it difficult to make
Create a table and chair using the Bevel, Solidify, and Mirror Modifiers you learned earlier. Separate the faces with the Split function and copy the Modifiers you used to use them on multiple objects.
Let's use the Proportional Editing we learned earlier to naturally bend the leaves and create plants and flower pots. Notice when to use Shift D and Alt D.
Think about which process to use and find out the pros and cons of each method. Use Snap to attach sprinkles on top of the donut cream. Connect with Parent and Child.
While learning about metaballs, you will learn how to create tree leaves using metaballs and how to create a clean mesh through the Remesh process.
Learn two ways to use images (as a reference or background for modeling, or as a material like a sticker) and create your own signboard. You'll also learn how to use Snap and Edge Slide to move the image to match the angle of the tilt.
We will create each object from the floor to the window frame and add them to the size that we have created. This is the time to get familiar with the Modifiers and Text that we have learned by creating them ourselves.
Install the light and add contrast. If it looks good in black and white, it will look good even when you add color. After this, you will learn about the four most basic types of light.
Learn how to insert different types of materials and insert them yourself. You will also learn how to copy materials and insert multiple materials on one object.
Learn more about World Properties and Emission materials while creating a night version of the donut shop.
[23.10.10] A lecture titled 'Table Clock Modeling' has been added to Section 3. :)
Q. Why should I learn Blender?
Blender is a program with a lot of features and it's free! It's a good program to try out when you're wondering if you're good at 3D. It's also great for learning as a hobby and for those who want to create their own animations or videos.
If you are learning for employment, it may be a good idea to learn a program that is widely used in that field. It is true that Blender is still relatively less well-known in Korea and is not used much by companies. It is natural because there are programs that were used before. However, companies that use Blender are gradually emerging and it is widely used overseas. Blender's importance will increase in Korea in the future!
Q. Are there subtitles?
Yes! You can see the explanation and shortcuts in subtitles for convenience. It will be easier to understand if you see it in writing than just listening to the difficult explanation. You can memorize the shortcuts more quickly because you can see not only what you pressed but also what function the shortcuts have!
Q. Can non-majors also take the course?
Yes, you can do it even if you don't major in video or design. The most difficult part of drawing a three-dimensional picture is perspective and angle. In Blender, if you place an object close to or far from the camera, perspective will be created naturally, and if you add light, shadows will be created automatically, so even if you can't draw, you can make it pretty.
Of course, there are exceptions, such as sculpting or texture painting, but the modeling and rendering you learn in this video are basic steps that anyone can do if they follow along diligently and have the will to create!
Q. What do I need to prepare to take this course?
Q. What should I do if something gets blocked?
If you get stuck in the middle, it becomes difficult to proceed to the next step. We understand your frustration, so we are always open to questions. For inquiries regarding Infraon service operation, please use 1:1 inquiry.
Hello. This is Codemode! :)
I currently run a YouTube channel where I create animations and upload tutorials using Blender.
I feel proud that it is filled with positive comments, and it gives me the strength to continue making videos.
