What you will learn!

  • Knowledge required to easily configure infrastructure

  • Knowledge of OS, Network, Tomcat, etc. required to operate the service

  • Knowledge required to test service performance

  • Knowledge of HTTP, Spring, MySQL, etc. needed to improve performance

Was the infrastructure vague?
Learn about infrastructure by building and breaking 🤖

📌 AWS fees may apply depending on your learning environment!
📌 The example code is prepared in JVM series (Java, Kotlin) / Spring Boot. If you have your own separate project, you can also practice using it.

⛳️ Course Objectives

  • Let's shake off the vague fears about infrastructure by directly configuring the environment in which the application runs.
  • Experience how to view and approach the vague topic of performance in the future.

📚 Lecture Contents

  1. We will consider the factors to consider when opening a service and learn the necessary knowledge (OS, Network, etc.).
  2. Learn the elements you need to check when operating your infrastructure and test its performance.
  3. Learn about and improve the factors that affect the performance of each section of a web service.

💬 QnA

Q. Can non-majors also take the course?
A. This is a lecture for non-majors. You won't be able to deeply understand CS knowledge with just this lecture, but I think it will help you build your learning skills for how to study in the future.

Q. How difficult are the missions and classes?
A. Some people with 4 to 10 years of experience had a hard time because they had little infrastructure experience, while others with a strong interest in OS/Network had an easy time preparing for employment.

Q. Do I have to complete the mission?
A. There is a saying that seeing is believing, and that doing the programming yourself is better than watching a lecture a hundred times. The same goes for infrastructure. You learn more things through the process of building, destroying, and yak-shaving yourself.
Additionally, I think reading the example code will also help you learn. I think those who are just starting out with the JVM series or Spring will be able to gain a lot of insight.

Q. Do I have to attend the lecture?
A. It's okay to just proceed with the mission. If you look at the hints carefully, you can proceed on your own. If you're curious about knowledge related to the mission, you can take the class.

Q. Is there anything I need to prepare before attending the lecture?
A. Since we will be practicing using AWS, you will need a separate personal account. Also, we will not be teaching you Linux commands, OSI 7 Layer, git, and github, so it would be a good idea to learn them in advance.
